01

What is AI virtual try-on?

AI virtual try-on puts a garment or accessory from an ordinary product photo onto a real model photo or an AI model. A shot taken on a hanger, against a wall or laid flat becomes a professional on-model fashion photo — with the fabric's drape, the shadows and the body proportions kept intact.

The traditional route needs a studio, a model agency, a photographer and retouching for every product, and new-season items often wait for the shoot day. Vibedesign turns all of that into a single upload: add your product, choose your model, download the result.

02

How to do an AI clothing try-on

  1. Upload your product photo
On a hanger, on a mannequin or laid flat — any photo where the product is clearly visible. A phone shot in good light is fine.
  2. Choose your model
Upload your own model photo or pick a virtual model you created earlier. Add a short note if you want a particular styling.
  3. Download the result
AI dresses the model in your product. Download it in high resolution and use it in your store and ads.

Photo tips for the best result

04

Which products can be tried on?

Dresses, tees, shirts, jackets, trousers, skirts and outerwear, plus bags, shoes and accessories. For small items like earrings and necklaces there are close-up framings that put the product first — see our jewellery photography guide.

You can combine several pieces into one outfit: in its default CLIO mode, the PRO TRY ON tool accepts up to eight product images on the same model, so a two-piece set, outerwear and accessories appear in one frame, in the same light.

05

Product try-on vs a virtual fitting room

Most 'virtual try-on' apps are consumer tools that let a shopper see clothes on their own selfie. Vibedesign works for the seller: the goal is professional images for product pages, marketplaces and ads that keep the product exactly as it is.

So the priority is product fidelity, not a fun preview: pattern, cut, colour and logo placement must hold, and the customer should receive what they saw in the photo.

Why Vibedesign for virtual try-on

Frequently Asked Questions

How does AI virtual try-on work?
Upload your product photo to Vibedesign, choose a model photo or a saved virtual model and start the generation. AI dresses the model in your product realistically; the result is usually ready to download within a few minutes.
Is a photo of the garment on a hanger enough?
Yes. One photo where the whole product is clearly visible — on a hanger, a mannequin or laid flat — is enough. The flatter and brighter the light, the more accurate the colour and texture.
What kind of products does it work with?
Clothing such as dresses, t-shirts, shirts, jackets and trousers, plus bags, shoes, earrings, necklaces and other accessories.
Can I combine several products on one model?
Yes. In PRO TRY ON's default CLIO mode you can add up to eight product images to the same outfit; top, bottom and accessories are dressed in one frame.
Can I use my own model?
Yes. Upload your own model photo, or create a virtual model once, save it and reuse it in every shoot.
How realistic are the results?
Drape, lighting and shadows are generated to stay faithful to your original product photo. The goal is e-commerce and campaign images that are hard to tell apart from a studio shoot. The better the source photo, the better the result.
Can I use the images in my store and in ads?
Yes. You can use the images you create commercially — on marketplaces, your own website and in social media ads.
How can I try it?
New accounts don't get free credits. The easiest way to test it on your own products is the 3-day Access pass: a one-time payment with no auto-renewal. Access includes the FAST tools (try-on, editorial shoot, poses); the PRO tools (multi-product try-on, Découpe, the persistent model library) and video are in Creator and higher plans.
